But... But... But...

Yes, we know.  You HATE spending money.  Just hate it.  Despise it.

Every penny you spend on supplies, services, marketing, etc. is a penny off of your bottom line.

We get it.

But what if we could put 8 pennies back for every penny you spend?

I know what you're thinking.  "Yeah, right.   PROVE it."

It's about psychology.

When potential guests look at the images on your site, the images will shout back a story to those potential guests... it will be either the grandest fairy-tale of all, or it will be a miserable horror story.  Or a bland, boring, technical manual.

It's YOUR choice which one it is.

When guests look at your images, they will make immediate psychological associations between the quality of the images and the quality of your property

Don't believe me?  Ask them.

Poor images are interpreted to mean "poor quality property."  Images that are dark and underexposed make your property look dirty, dingy, dark, and poorly maintained... a dive.  Images that are obviously amateurish make your property look like a joke.  A dive.

Here... try it yourself.

Here is an actual image off of a national hotel site:

Now... the tragedy here is that the property in question is actually quite nice.. not a 4-star property, mind you... but clean, cozy, and well-maintained.

And yet, as you can see, the poor quality of the image reflects very poorly on the property itself... lines are skewed, it is under-exposed, and quite frankly, looks like somebody's nephew stepped into the room, popped up the on-camera flash, and snapped off a shot.

Compare this with images taken by professional hospitality photographers (this is one of ours), and you can hopefully see the difference.

This lines are straight, the room is properly lit, there is an enticing view out the window, and the room looks as spacious, warm, and inviting as it actually is.

As we mentioned in another blog post, it's all about return on investment.  Invest nothing, get nothing.  Invest wisely, reap the rewards for the next 5-7 years, year over year.

It's not brain surgery.  It's simple common sense.
